Hi friends!
Thanks so much for taking the time to listen to my music.
First things first, country music is my heart and soul! As a child and young adult, I was very often in the company of my grandfather, Sam Lawmaster (aka Sammy Masters) and had the honor of being able to listen to him sing and play guitar to me. He wrote songs for Patsy Cline, is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, and enjoyed a wonderful music career. His musical legacy was the catalyst for my deep admiration of country/bluegrass, blues, and gospel. As a tribute to my grandpa's memory, I use the stage name of Missy Masters, and think of him every time I get the chance to sing his songs.
I began piano lessons when I was seven years old, started singing at nine years old, and my love for making music only grows with each passing day!
In addition to singing country/bluegrass music, I am a trained musical theatre, choral, pop, and jazz vocalist. I am currently writing and recording new material, and am always seeking performance and songwriting opportunities.
